Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is a high-quality precious metal widely used in fine jewellery for its brilliant shine, strength, and affordability. Made from 92.5% pure silver blended with 7.5% copper, 925 sterling silver offers the perfect balance of beauty and durability.
What’s Good:
✔ Gently polish with a soft silver cloth;
✔ Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising.
What to Avoid:
✘ Harsh chemicals (cleaners, perfumes, hairspray)
Solid Gold (10K–18K)
Gold is a timeless precious metal prized for its rich color and lasting value. 10K gold is strong and affordable—ideal for daily wear. 14K and 18K gold offer richer color and higher purity, perfect for fine jewellery that lasts a lifetime.
What’s Good:
✔ Wear often — gold is durable and does not tarnish;
✔ Clean with warm water.
What to Avoid:
✘ Chlorine or bleach.
Gold Vermeil (Sterling silver with thick gold plating)
Gold vermeil is made by layering thick real gold plating over a base of 925 sterling silver. It gives you the look of solid gold with the base of genuine silver
What’s Good:
✔ Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth after wear;
✔ Store in a pouch or box to minimize contact with air;
✔ Apply perfume or lotion before putting on jewellery.
What to Avoid:
✘ Water — remove before washing hands, bathing, or swimming;
✘ Friction against rough surfaces, which can wear down the gold layer.
Stones (Cubic Zirconias, Lab and Natural Diamonds)
- Cubic Zirconia
Offers a diamond-like shine at a more accessible price, perfect for everyday sparkle.
-
Lab-Grown Diamonds
Are created using advanced technology. They have the same brilliance and durability as mined diamonds and are increasingly popular for their value and ethical appeal.
-
Natural Diamonds
Natural diamonds are rare and timeless, making them ideal for heirloom-quality jewellery meant to last for generations.
What’s Good:
✔ Clean gently with warm water
✔ Wipe with a microfiber cloth to keep the sparkle
What to Avoid:
✘ Impact or pressure — stones can chip or loosen
